Harlem Comes To Cotton is owned and operated by Darren Spencer, DVM, a Class of 1993 graduate of Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Spencer has been a veterinarian with the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service for 30+ years. He prioritizes “learning by doing” and community building.

Subria Spencer is a public health professional serving as Deputy Liaison and Communication Specialist for the National Park Service Office of Public Health (OPH), in Washington, DC. Her focus is improving health outcomes for communities by providing advocacy and improving access.
